Begin your visit in Monterrosa Olive Oil Mill, located in Moncarapacho´s village, where the quality of olive oil was voted one of the best in the world. There, you can sample different oils, like a professional.

In Moncarapacho you can see also handmade unique pottery pieces and, if you wish, buy some souvenirs.

Still on the techniques of artisanal manufacture, we will visit one of the factories of Santa Catarina and see how clay tiles are made. The process is still done by hand. Tiles are much appreciated and have a great commercial value.

For lunch, sample the products from inland Algarve in a typical Portuguese restaurant.

In the afternoon, learn more about cork with a guided tour of a factory and end the day with a walk through the cork oak fields of centenary trees.
